Scorpio Safety Systems are approved System Integration Specialists for the Uniline range. We offer a range of cable based fall protection systems in order to best meet your safety requirements. All systems provide access at height via a simple to use hands free attachment device, allowing workers to move around and carry out their job without hindrance.

All systems can accommodate multiple workers providing that site, system and structural parameters permit. Scorpio utilises a specially developed computer programme to accurately predict system performance in the event of a fall and ensure all system designs are safe and tailored to your individual needs. The Uniline cable systems can be used in a variety of environments and for a variety of applications. Scorpio will help you to assess the risks associated with your working environment and recommend the appropriate solution, including associated personal protective equipment (PPE).

No matter which cable system you choose, the same high standard of production, design and installation will be provided. In addition the Uniline cable systems have the following common features.

Best for new building projects and refurbishments and roofs with a low pitch. The Uniline high quality stainless steel cable system offers customers a cost effective solution and is particularly effective when combined with Force Management Roof Anchors.

Uni-8 Overhead System

Best for industrial applications where there is minimal ground clearance and the anchorage point needs to be above the users head.

Force Management Anchors

Integrating horizontal life lines into your building is made easy and trouble free with Scorpio Safety Systems range of patented Roof Anchors.

The technically advanced Force Management Anchors permit the use of thin metal roof sheets as structural anchors, by limiting the forces that are generated in the event of a fall to less than 10kN through a built in energy absorber. The reaction of the anchor re-orientates the load to a more beneficial plane for the roof structure and distributes load through the fixings to ensure the integrity of the roof system is maintained.

The design of the anchor is neat and unobtrusive, limiting the visual impact to the building. Anchors can be colour coated to match the roof finish. The Anchors are easily fitted from the top of the roof structure using minimal penetrations and are either self-sealing or require minimal waterproofing detail. Anchors for standing seam roofs use clamps to completely avoid the need for penetrations. All anchors are tested in accordance with EN795 and are CE marked against demanding technical specifications. In many cases the Force Management Anchors are tested in conjunction with and approved by major Roofing Manufacturers for added reassurance. Technical specifications are available on request. Force Management Anchors can only be installed on roof systems that have been validated as capable of supporting the distributed loads applied in the event of a fall.

Traditional Roof Anchors

Not all roof systems are suitable for installation of Force Management Anchors, so Scorpio also offer solid support anchors for use on more traditional building structures and for use as anchors for the Uniline Synthetic cable system, where longer spans are required. Weather proofing detail is arranged by your Approved Systems Integrator. Posts are available in stainless and galvanised steel and can also be powder coated.
